Membership in SCAVA opens doors to state and national concerns on volunteerism. Through newsletters, reports and “members only” features available on this website, SCAVA members are kept abreast of key issues facing volunteer administrators. SCAVA’s membership surveys are the only source of salary information pertaining to the state’s volunteer management profession.
SCAVA holds an annual membership meeting at the Winter Conference, normally scheduled in late January.
Categories of Membership
Individual: Individual membership is available to all persons involved in volunteerism. Members are entitled to all rights and privileges of the Association. Members will receive a newsletter approximately four times per year, a membership handbook, a periodic salary survey, resource information, networking, leadership opportunities and information on conferences.
Affiliate: Affiliate membership is available to local, community and regional groups formed to promote volunteerism and the exchange of resources. At present thereare affiliates in the following localities:
Charleston and surrounding area (LASCAVA), Columbia and surrounding area (MASCAVA), Greenville County (PAVA), Anderson, Pickens, Oconee Counties (TRIAVA).
